About Cross Border Power
A locally owned electrical and solar business built on safety, quality workmanship and lasting relationships with our Albury community.
Our story
Local roots. Personal service.
Cross Border Power was founded to build a trusted, community-focused electrical business. With nearly a decade of industry experience across residential, commercial and renewable energy work, we bring a practical, considered approach to each project.
For our solar customers in Albury, that means a local team who takes the time to understand the property and what you need from your system. Safety, clear communication and care for your home or business guide the work we do.
We want to build long-term customer relationships, not simply move on to the next job.
Safety first
Compliant work, careful checks and no cutting corners. Safety comes before a rushed finish.
Care in every job
We treat your home or business with the care we would give our own, from the first conversation to the finished work.
Genuinely local
We live and work in the Albury region. Our relationships with local customers matter to us.
Community minded
Our long-term goal is to create opportunities for local young people through trade skills and mentorship.
Founder & lead electrician
Meet Robbie Smith
Born and raised in the region, Robbie founded Cross Border Power with a lifelong ambition to run a business that is personal, lasting and connected to the community.
Family is at the heart of that approach. Supported by his partner Tiarnah and their family, Robbie brings the same care to customers’ projects, tailoring the work to their needs and keeping safety, quality and communication front and centre.
His long-term ambition is to give back through trade skills and mentorship, helping local young people build opportunities for their future.
